A facinating account of the spread of Christianity to Britain from as early as AD 36-37 and from Britain to Rome through the members of the British Royal Family in exile and their relationship with the Apostle Paul.

Interesting read. I have read other books regarding the Disciples and St. Joseph, Jesus' uncle but this one was based a bit more on the church in Avalon. Not a lot was spoken of this in the New Testament, so it is great to read more about Anna, Mary's mother, her sister, also a Mary and more on the Disciples that left Israel after Jesus was sacrificed. What fun to have the history of Joseph burying the end of his staff in the soil of Britain and to know the tree's offshoots still survives to this day. Many records were destroyed by King George on a rage to stamp out all Christianity, but those Monks were a secretive lot and tended to hide items away for future generations. How fortunate for us, this was so. I'm glad I purchased this one and will keep it in my archives to reread again.Product details

The Drama of the Lost Disciples edition by George F Jowett Religion Spirituality eBooks Reviews
This is another of the books that I have been reading lately. It has more pieces to the puzzle of that time frame. This gives me more insight into a subject that I have been interested in for years. I like this book, and hope that you do too.
This book was advertised as having been written from hitherto unpublished sources ... but there are very few citations of source documents. The florid style of the prose seems to come from the Victorian era, yet the venomous vocabulary is obviously post-WWII, so there is a bit of conitive dissonnence . I really like reading about these early Common Era times, but I strongly prefer it to be well-documented.
I plan on reading this book again and perhaps again. Sad and beautiful factual story about the disciples, other men and women close to Jesus including Mary's Uncle and Mary herself who went out to spread Christianity in Britian and Rome. The bravery of the individuals in this story and their fight for freedom during complete persecution left me speechless and humble. After you read this you will want to go back and read bible over as your understanding and interest will expound greatly! I plan on encouraging all my loved ones to read, I consider it a must read!!!
A historical book concerning the fate of Joseph of Arimathea, Mary the mother of Jesus, some of the disciples of Jesus, and other Christians who were put into a boat without oars and set afloat. The ocean currents carried them to the the Southern coast of France continent and they made their way to England where they were protected by the Celts till their deaths. These facts were found in in old history books in England libraries. This is one of the most interesting history books I have read.
This book blows my mind. It tells the truth of how Christianity was spread.
It started with Britain a few years after the Resurrection (AD 37);
Joseph of Arimathea, the great uncle of Jesus of Nazareth, was driven
from Israel by the evil Sanhedrin of that day. But what a blessing that
was; because it started a Christian revolution that brought "the Way",
the one and only true religion to the world. Rome only became a
Christian nation under Constantine, whose mother was Helen, a
British Princess. Oh how we have been misled by so called historians.
This book has been lost in time. I wonder why? Is it that evil forces are keeping knowledge from us. This book is so precious to me. It follows the Disciples from the time of the Crucifixion of Our Lord Jesus Christ. It tell the story of the plot of the leaders of the Jerusalem Temple to kill of Joseph of Aramthea, who was Jesus Great Uncle. What every happened to Jesus Mother? This Book documents through Roman and English papers the where about of all the 12 disciples. Mary mother of Jesus, Lazerth, Martha and her sister Mary. The Bible gives the story, but to further your knowledge you have to pray and seek. If you do you will find so much more then you have ever expected. You will be Blessed.
Know the history of the Christian Church. The first Christian Church following Christ's death was not founded in Rome, but in Glastonbury England in 37 A.D. Using historical texts from the Vatican Archives, George Jowette reveals the 300 years of wars the Roman Empire waged on England to exterminate the early Christian Church and stem the flow of Christian missionaries who travelled from England to Iberia, , Germania, Gaul and North Africa. Passages of the Bible illuminated and made whole again. Yes, England was the rock on which Christ built his Church. And Joseph of Arimathea was the seed. Embraced by the early Celtic culture, the Christian Church grew, protectected by British warrirors like Arviragus and Caractacus. Skeptical? Fine, check and reference his sources. This book will breathe new life and meaning into your Christian faith. It has transormed my life and strengthened my belief in Christ.
